First back to back 102 km over 2 days

Packing light, critical for trying to anything that resembles running...or lets be honest wabjabbing.  Think I (nearly) got my kit  down to the minimum kg I could with the kit I owned, perhaps a lighter tarp and a more comfy sleeping arrangement would improve the experience.

Kit ready for re-packing in Salomon 15 and room to spare; will have to weigh it next time!

So I waited until the weather looked a little more settled and set off for my first longer back to back. 40km  to a campsite and a huge burger and chips!! Then a surprising 51km back....knees good, warm, but suffered less and just nursing one blister which I am told is due to my shoes!! All good.....lets keep training #longroadahead

So, way too hot for doggies and long runs this weekend, so instead I left them at home to chill with their doggie friends and hit my first back to back session....lets catch a train and run back :)....40 miles done, but well toasted in the sun! #training #learningeveryday #hydration #getoutside #dostuff #h2adventures
